Sunday morning my friend Morten and I are catching the early ferry to the continent on an expedition to follow the German/Czech river Elbe/Labe to its spring in the mountains between The Czech Republic and Poland.
We have planned a 1700-1800 km trip, mostly on smaller country roads and expect to be back home in Denmark Wednesday evening.
We are catching the morning ferry at 0700 to Rostock in Germany.
Weather is partially wet, but we expect it to be dry again before Berlin.
We arrived at the Elbe River west of Wittenberg before lunchtime – on dry roads 👍😉☀️
