Pyrenees trip – planning phase …
I’m starting my spring tour to the Pyrenees mountains in about a weeks time, and the overall idea is to ride as many passes as possible in the Pyrenees from ocean to ocean.
Spain is not exactly in my back yard, so I might as well search for more mountains on the trip down through Europe 🙂
Route planning is done and loaded to the GPS, and it looks like a +6000 km trip, abd two weeks on the road ☀️🏍️
Measuring suspension sag …
Is not easy to do alone when you sit on the bike to measure the dynamic sag.
So I’m quite proud of my Sag-o-meter invention that allow me to measure and record the dynamic sag without waiting for a friend to pop in 🙂

Updating the upgraded brake pedal …
It was not possible to position the brake pedal low enough for smooth and easy engagement.
(The brake pedal arm would hit the stop point on the foot rest console when I tried to lower the pedal)
The solution was to lower the brake pedal tip with a small piece of 4mm stainless steel plate 👍 I deliberately made the plate a bit higher than necessary so it could act as a boot guard to avoid that my foot/boot would engage the brake in an unexpected way by stepping on the top of the brake arm (instead of the brake tip)
Brake pedal upgrade …
The original brake pedal is too thin/wimpy, and lacks feel and feedback big time.
Camel Adventure makes an upgraded brakepedal that is much sturdier 🏆
Ducati 848 Streetfighter sold …
I had this beautiful low mileage Ducati Streetfighter 848 standing in my office for more than 6 years, but now it was time to part with it. It is now with a happy new owner that will actually ride it on the street 👍👊

And I’m happy with the look, the finish, and the 22 liter fuel capacity 🏆🏍️

The Tenere 700 is in general low on fuel consumption, but the standard 16 liter tank is still a bit too small for my preferences !
The 22 liter Acerbis plastic tank is 1,5 kg lighter, holds an additional 6 liters of fuel, and increases the range to aprox 450 km 👍🏆🏍️
