Sattelite beacon …

Subscription to sattelite communication is not cheap, but it is an important safety improvement when you travel away from the beaten track.

Bought a lathe …
From an old colleague
It is a classic british Myford 7, build from 1946 to 1979. (Mine is from 1962)
They are much sought after because they are excellent quality, all spare parts are available, and it is an excellent size for making motorcycle parts.

Testing the new Harley Davidson Pan America …
This is the first Harley Pan America to reach the Danish shores, and I was granted a test ride.
I’m not much of a Harley fan, but the Pan America was a very positive surprise.
A modern Adventure bile in any way – thumps up to Harley for making this bike.
Finished the modifications on the motorcycle trailer …
By installing a cheap topcase.
Now, all the straps, hooks, and lock is permanently available on the trailer, so now it is always ready for use !

Vibration free mount for the Innovv camera …
The first bracket I made for the Innovv C5 did a good job transferring the vibration from the engine to the camera and the result was “wavy” movies.
The small rubber washer that came with the camera mount could not filter away the vibration.
So I made a new two-part bracket where I can adjust the flexibility with different kind of rubber/foam washers, and adjust how much the washers are compressed.
Installing the Innovv C5 camera …
Power supply hooked up to the battery (permanent 12 volt) and to a 12 volt source that is live when ignition is turned on.
The camera is placed on a home made bracket next to the wind shield.
The small controll unit just fits below the rear seat.
Not a difficult installation but it took some time to route and connect the cables.
Innovv C5 dash cam …
The problem with all other cameras is that you need to start recording manually BEFORE you see something interesting/beautiful/funny – and you dont always know when this will happen.
So a hard wired dash cam that starts recording as soon as you start the engine, and overwrites the oldest recording when the memory card is full could be the best solution.
The Innovv C5 won me over because it have wifi connection to my phone, so I can download and secure the most interesting parts of the trip without fiddling with memory cards.
I’m installing it on the SWM Superdual 🙂

This is a very efficient piece of equipment to dry your bike after washing it.
It moves A LOT of air !

Modifying the new trailer …
With proper front wheel cradles.
This way you can load the bike on your own and leave it standing in the cradle while strapping the bike down.
No need to have someone to help you load and unload bikes.
